The Isle RPG

The 40-acre island feels perfectly claustrophobic for a horror mystery—I spent my first session just wandering the low grasses. The description of the monastery buildings near the peak already has me paranoid about what's in the tower. Can’t wait to see how the fire atop it ties into the story.

The fire-lit tower on the monastery is such a small, perfect detail that immediately pulled me into the grim atmosphere. The whole setting feels isolated and dangerous, exactly what I was hoping for in a solo session.

I've been running this solo and the atmosphere is incredible — that tower fire description alone sets the tone perfectly. The 40-acre island feels vast in my imagination even though it's tiny on the map. The monastery setting really draws you into the story.
