The singer Emelda actually has a compelling backstory woven into the adventure, and the cruel Lord Malbleat makes for a memorable villain. The festival setting provides plenty of opportunities for roleplaying and unexpected encounters.

The festival setup in Lankshorn hooked me immediately, and the tension around Emelda's voice actually gave me chills as we played through it. My group loved the layered mystery behind Lord Malbleat’s ancestor.

The festival setup in Lankshorn feels properly lived-in, and the way the scenario ties Lord Malbleat's ancestor to the town’s history gave my group plenty to sink their teeth into. It ran a bit longer than our usual session, but the pacing kept everyone engaged right up to the finale.
