Orange Tulip - 3D Miniature Scene

My dad actually struggled at first with the tiny pieces, but once we figured out how the wooden layers interlock, the flower form came together beautifully. The laser-cut details on the tulip petals are incredibly crisp and satisfying to see up close.

The way the tiny tulip petals lock into place with no glue is so clever, and the final model looks just like the real flower on my desk. It took me a peaceful evening to finish, and now it’s a lovely reminder of spring.

The assembly was surprisingly satisfying, with each notched piece locking into place so precisely. It’s now sitting on my desk, and the layered petals catch the light beautifully.
