The staff roles like the Cook and Execu actually influence how alliances form, which makes every playthrough feel fresh. I’m already plotting my next game night around this one.

The rulebook is surprisingly thick for a card game, but that just means the backstabbing mechanics are deep. I love how the bribable staff characters add a chaotic, unpredictable layer to every round.

The pre-order arrived earlier than expected, and the concept of bribing corrupt staff like the Cook and Jester to climb the social ladder is brilliantly dark. I’ve already started plotting my first backstab.
