Tained Grail RPG: Quickstart

The map layout in the quickstart book makes it easy to run the introductory scenario without flipping pages mid-session. I was surprised how much lore about Avalon is packed into just these first 50 pages, really set the mood.

The quickstart rules for the Tainted Grail world are surprisingly easy to pick up, and the included adventure gave my group a solid two sessions of play. The lore on the dying land of Avalon is exactly what I needed to see if the full game is for us.

The adventure included gives a good feel for the setting, and I appreciated how clearly the core rules are explained. The only thing missing is a few more character options to start with, though it's a solid intro.
