The fast-paced d20 combat system kept our session moving without getting bogged down, and the storytelling prompts helped us weave in meaningful character moments between fights. My players were instantly hooked on creating their own heroes.

My group tried the d20 combat system last night and it flowed much faster than other superhero games I've run, letting us get back to the story quickly. The rules for meaningful storytelling are actually built into the mechanics, not just tacked on as an afterthought.

The storytelling side is where this shines, but the d20 combat feels a bit standard if you've played other systems. It's a solid pick for a group that wants a mix of action and narrative, though the rulebook could be better organized for quick reference mid-game.
