Whispers in the Walls 2e RPG

The atmosphere in this book is incredible—the idea of walls whispering secrets in the dark is exactly the creepy vibe I wanted. I love how the rules make paranoia and investigation feel tense, not just combat-focused.

The late-night secrecy theme really shines through the mechanics — the hidden story hooks tied to the wall whispers are clever and make solo play feel genuinely tense. I just wish the printed text were a bit larger for reading in dim light, but the atmosphere more than makes up for it.

The whisper mechanic for hidden story hooks is clever, though I wish the book included a few more ready-to-run scenarios. Still, the way the text layers secrets into ordinary rooms has already sparked three sessions for our group.
