Design and Theme: Story-Driven vs Modern Edge
The Unearthed Sage set comes from a collaboration between Die Hard Dice and Jake Stormoen's Storm Forged brand. It features a unique bordered design and a font created from scratch, giving it a thematic, story-driven look that fits fantasy campaigns and characters tied to storms or ancient lore.
AfterDark Neon Wild leans into a sleek, modern aesthetic with gold plating and neon green fill. It feels like a high-tech or cyberpunk accessory, making it a strong match for contemporary or sci-fi tabletop settings.
Readability and Visibility at the Table
Readability is a key factor when you're rolling in a dimly lit room or across a busy game mat. The Unearthed Sage's custom font is designed for clarity, and the bordered design helps the numbers stand out against the die face.
AfterDark Neon Wild's neon green fill on gold plating creates a bright, high-contrast look that remains easy to read even in low light. If you often play evening sessions, this set might give you an edge.
