Natalie ★★★★★

The rulebook explains the 1000-year-old history beautifully, and the 5x5 grid is surprisingly easy to pick up for a game that’s that ancient. My kids (6 and 9) caught on in one round, and the tiger-versus-goat strategy keeps everyone thinking for the full 20 minutes.

Jacob ★★★★☆

The game board is lightweight but feels sturdy enough for travel, and the rule booklet made learning the ancient strategy surprisingly easy. I just wish the pieces had a small storage bag to keep them from rolling around in the box.

Aurora ★★★★☆

The carved wooden board feels nice and heavy, and I love that it comes with a fabric bag to store the pieces. My only small wish is that the instructions were a bit clearer for beginners.
