PIPEROID animals 黒猫 - 日本製ペーパークラフトキット

The predrilled holes align so perfectly that each pipe just clicks into place, even for a beginner like me. The finished black cat has a surprising amount of character for something made of paper, and I love that it came straight from Kyoto with that traditional block-building feel.

I had so much fun assembling this little black cat—each pipe slides into place with a satisfying click and the instructions are incredibly clear even for a beginner. The end result looks cute enough to sit on my desk without looking cheap or flimsy.

The way the little pipes just click into those pre-drilled holes is oddly satisfying—the black cat came together in one evening while I watched TV. It’s sturdy enough to sit on my shelf without any glue, which is exactly what I wanted from a paper kit.
