The laser-cut pieces fit together so satisfyingly that I lost track of time assembling it. The wooden texture gives the Thousand Sunny a warm, handcrafted feel that really pops on my shelf. Watching the ship take shape piece by piece was almost as fun as the anime itself.

Building this Thousand Sunny was surprisingly relaxing once I got the hang of the tiny tabs. The laser-cut wood slots in cleanly, though a few pieces needed a gentle sanding to fit perfectly. It’s a solid display piece that any One Piece fan would appreciate.

Was a little intimidated by the number of tiny wooden pieces at first, but the interlocking joints fit together much more precisely than I expected. The finished Thousand Sunny looks great on my shelf, though I wish the instructions were a bit clearer for a few of the trickier steps.
