Harrowshade RPG

I cracked it open last night and the layout is surprisingly clean for such a grim setting—the solo mechanics flow well on the page. The expanded 60-page print feels substantial, and the new content adds real depth to the dying world without bogging down play.

The 60+ page physical edition feels like a proper artifact for a dying world — the weight of the paper alone sets the mood. I’ve run it twice solo and the expanded content adds a lot of grim depth beyond the original.

The 60+ page count feels substantial for a solo supplement, and the black-and-white art really sets the grim tone. It integrates smoothly with the core rules, though I wish the binding lay flatter for table use.
