The lineage system really shines here—watching my family’s legacy grow through each quest adds a layer of stakes I didn’t know I needed. The intrigue cards integrate smoothly with the base game, and setup felt tighter than the original. Already planning my next playthrough.

The lineage system is such a clever addition, I love how quests actually shape your family's story across sessions. The empire-building mechanics feel deeper without slowing down the game, and the new intrigue cards are already a hit at our table. Can't wait to get this back out again.

The quest cards weave into the intrigue deck smoothly, and the new lineage track gives each session a longer arc without slowing the table down. I’d have liked a few more empire-building tiles, but the core loop feels fresh even after a dozen plays.
