Dungeons & Dragons - Forgotten Realms: Avonturen in Faerun (Alternatieve omslag)

The alt cover is gorgeous—the gold foil really pops in person—and the book itself is packed with enough setting details to fuel months of sessions. I've already run two one-shots just using the adventure hooks in the first chapter.

The alt cover art caught my eye immediately—way more striking than the standard version. It’s got all the Baldur’s Gate and Icewind Dale locations detailed in a way that makes setting up campaigns feel effortless. Only wish there were a few more pre-written quests to jump into right out of the box.

The idea of creating endless adventures across the Forgotten Realms is exciting, but the alt cover doesn't really add much to the gameplay itself. It's a solid expansion for the core rules, just not essential if you already have plenty of campaign ideas.
