Nobi Nobi RPG - Magic

The Magic set is a fantastic pick if you’re tired of pure sword-swingers, since it’s built entirely around wizard-type casters and their spell loadouts. I’ve run two sessions already and the way it balances offense with trickier utility magic keeps combat fresh without bogging down the pace.

The character creation options for wizards feel genuinely balanced, and the rulebook’s examples for crafting unique spells saved me a lot of confusion during our first session.

The spell descriptions are clear enough for a new player to jump right in, and the Wizard class feels genuinely powerful from the start. My group’s mage took down a goblin patrol with a single fireball, and we were all hooked.
