In Bohemians, players take on the roles of artists wandering the streets of Paris at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, striving to create masterpieces while facing the challenges of daily life. Bohemians is a card-driven game in which players collect cards to find inspiration, seek muses, and manage everyday necessary tasks.

In each round, players must plan that day's routine and decide whether they will go on a date, participate in a social event, meet their muse, create new art, or...go to work.

The prototype of Bohemians won three nominations and one award (Best Presentation, Best Innovation, Best Game) at Fastaval, Denmark's largest convention for board games and roleplaying games.

David ★★★★★

The art cards are beautiful and really make you feel like you're in 1900s Paris. I love how the daily challenge cards force you to make tough choices about spending your time and money.

Joseph F. ★★★★☆

Having to juggle money for paint and rent actually adds a nice layer of tension to the gameplay. My only small gripe is the rulebook could be a bit clearer on the workshop phase. Still, a great atmosphere that makes me want to play again.

Nicholas ★★★★☆

The theme of struggling artists in old Paris is genuinely clever, and the way your choices about food and rent weigh on your ability to paint adds real tension. It took my group about an hour to get comfortable with the flow, but once we did, the evening flew by.
