Bookshelf is the new game in Alley Cat Games' ever popular tin line.

Players must work together to cooperatively stack books on top of a tower of cards. Cards have instructions on which books to place on top of it, and restrictions of where most of the books need to be placed. Don't be fooled though, placing books one at a time is harder than it initially looks!

We played this a few times and the tower-building tension is real. It's a bit tricky to keep the cards stable, but the cooperative challenge makes it a fun party game.

The cooperative play is really clever, and stacking those tiny books on the card tower is more tense than I expected. My only gripe is the instructions could be a bit clearer on the setup. Still, it's a fun little challenge for game night.
