Category: Board Games

Dirt & Dust, designed by co-designer of Kutná Hora Petr Čáslava and illustrated by Jakub Politzer (Lost Ruins of Arnak, SETI, Adrenaline and more) is game for 1 to 4 players that offers way different experience than other racing-inspired games. The core of the game lies in fine tuning your vehicle (your deck of cards) and balancing risky and safe driving in order to keep your car on the track (and score as many points as you can while doing so). There is not much direct interaction between players in Dirt & Dust (as there is not much interaction in the real rally championships), but the excitement and tension is still through the roof.

Joseph L. ★★★★★

The solo mode is what sold me, and it plays just as smoothly as the multiplayer rounds with my group. Jakub Politzer’s artwork on the board and cards is genuinely gorgeous, and the turn flow keeps things tense without ever dragging.

Natalie ★★★★★

I’ve played it solo and with three others, and the interaction between players changes each game. The artwork by Jakub Politzer is stunning. It’s definitely staying in my collection.

Eva ★★★★☆

Took this to game night with three friends and the solo mode’s been a nice backup, though the rulebook could be clearer on setup. The art from the Lost Ruins of Arnak illustrator is the standout, makes the dusty theme feel alive even when turns drag a bit.
