Brian P. ★★★★★

I was skeptical about a board game where you’re fleeing to Catan rather than building it, but the cooperative twist totally won me over. The way the sailors’ stories pull you into the escape narrative made our first playthrough feel urgent and fresh.

The theme of escaping to Catan gives this a fresh twist, and the story-driven setup got our group into it right away. Only gripe is the rulebook is a bit dense to get through on the first play, but once we started it flowed well.
