Fanorona (short for Fanoron-Tsivy) is a 2-player war game native to Madagascar. Each player controls a troop of 22 lemurs. Drive off all of your opponent’s lemurs by moving your own lemurs along the network of branches.
Fanorona is part of the LUDOS Ancient Games Collection - Africa.
The LUDOS Ancient Games of the World Collection was born to preserve traditional games of the past for the generations of the future. The second volume, LUDOS Africa brings you four 2-player ancient strategy games from Mali, Ghana, Nigeria and Madagascar.
