Can you figure out the word, even if you're being lied to?

Wordle-Inspired Game of Deception

Fiction is a Wordle-inspired game of deception. One player is the Lie-brarian and will choose a secret word from a classic work of literature. All the other players work as a team to guess that secret word as quickly as possible through logic, literacy and deduction.

The game has 10 guesses and two 10 minute periods to win, but beware, the Lie-brarians clues will always certainly exactly one lie that will surely confuse you along the way.

Jason ★★★★★

Our group finally found a Wordle variant that keeps everyone on edge—the Lie-brarian role adds a fun layer of bluffing that changes the whole dynamic. The secret word guessing feels tense and rewarding, especially when you catch someone in a lie mid-round.

Leo ★★★★★

The lie-brarian mechanic makes every round feel like a tense bluffing game, and I love how it keeps even simple words challenging. We’ve been playing it non-stop since it arrived, and the Wordle inspiration really shines through.
