LUDOS America Deluxe Collection

LUDOS America features four, 2-player ancient strategy games from Chile (Komikan), Guatemala (Puluc), Hawaii (Konane) and the American Southwest (Awithlaknannai).

Konane is a centuries-old jump-and-capture game, traditionally played by Hawaiian chiefs. We imagine two skilled lei makers compete to gather the most exquisite blooms. Which craftsman will collect the last blooming flower?

Komikan is a traditional hunt game with deep roots in the Mapuche culture. In the heart of ancient Chile a mighty Puma prowls the landscape, hunting for Alpacas. Will you be the hunter or the hunted?

Puluc is a pre-Columbian running-fight game originating from the Maya civilization. In this game, under the watchful gaze of ancient Mayan gods, two rival factions prepare for a sacred ritual combat. Which faction will emerge victorious?

Awithlaknannai is a war game from the Zuni tribe of New Mexico. In the waters of the Rio Grande, Kolowisi, the revered water serpent, divides his serpentine offspring into two teams for a sacred contest. Who will earn the favor of Kolowisi?
