Category: Board Games

Binding Ties takes negotiation to the next level through the introduction of faction reputation. Now, when you successfully complete a contract with other players, you earn reputation with the player's faction. Reputation can then be spent on bonus actions, cards, credits, or even prestige.

Binding ties adds a lot of structure and undeniable benefits to the negotiation system, encouraging even the most individualistic players to help out on contracts.

Not a standalone game, requires Moonrakers Base Game (Platinum or Gold) to play.

Christopher ★★★★★

I’ve been playing this expansion with my group for weeks, and the reputation system adds a whole new layer of strategy to forming alliances. It’s great how you actually earn favor with specific players by completing contracts together, which makes every negotiation feel more meaningful.

The faction reputation system completely changes how I approach every contract — now I'm actually weighing who gets the glory instead of just taking the best payout. It adds a layer of long-term strategy that makes the base game feel twice as deep.
