PIPEROID is an award winning Japanese 3D paper craft kit from Kyoto that is a mix of traditional block construction toy and origami. Just cut, fold, and insert the pipes in the predrilled holes and build without any tape or glue mess. The only tool required is scissors as the holes are designed to snugly hold the pipes together but loose enough to allow the joints to move! With new styles being released every year, PIPEROID has become one of the top giftable items for all ages making it a fantastic gift for not only boys and girls but even for adults - inspiring the kid inside of everyone's heart.

The cut-and-insert system is surprisingly addictive, and the calico pattern on the paper looks even better in person once the light hits it. I finished the whole thing in one rainy afternoon and it’s now the most charming thing on my shelf.

The pre-cut pieces punch out cleanly and the predrilled holes line up perfectly, so the whole calico cat came together in about an hour. It's a bit fiddly at the ears, but the finished 3D model looks great on my shelf.
