It was universally agreed that somewhere between the first dainty sip of tea and the final, venomously hurled piece of cake, Aunt Alice’s bridge game had taken a regrettable turn…

Welcome to the RiverBank Roleplaying Game! In this cozy narrative game of Animal characters, social adventures, and more than a few unexpected twists, you and a few reputable (or otherwise!) Animal friends will find a new home in an idyllic English countryside setting created by award-winning writer Kij Johnson.

RiverBank is a game of escalating situations and impending disaster. Your Animal characters will partake of village life - celebrating festivals, attending Ms. Badger’s literary salons (for the hors d’oeuvres, if nothing else), and nurturing (occasionally sabotaging) relationships with your fellow players and a charming cast of non-player characters.

Welcome to RiverBank - your story is about to begin!

We sat down expecting a typical card night and instead got a full-blown murder mystery where the tea was the first casualty. The scenario writing is so vivid you can practically smell the stale biscuits and hear Aunt Alice’s venomous cake-throw. I’ve played a dozen RPGs and this one’s setup hook had

The tea-cake bridge game scenario in the setup made me laugh out loud, and the storytelling really pulls you into the chaos from the first page. I've already run two sessions with friends and the narrative hooks kept everyone engaged the whole time.
