Until Proven Guilty: Thirst for Justice

"Objection, your Honor.” You have always dreamed of saying this. Your time has finally come! You are a talented rookie lawyer, and your mentor has assigned you a case in which you will face a particularly tough prosecutor. Will this be your big break or a complete disaster?

How to play:

  1. Read the Trial cards and present the correct Evidence cards.
  2. Depending on your defense, the web app will illustrate how the jury changes its opinion of the defendant.
  3. Get to the last Trial card, then count the number of Jurors on the Innocent side to see how well you fared.

Why we recommend it:

  • A narrative and collaborative game suitable for everyone.
  • Take on the role of a rookie lawyer, like an episode of your favorite legal TV series!
  • The game’s website helps you with instructions and clues during the game, as well as details about the jury’s evolving opinion of the defendant!

Samuel ★★★★★

My first case felt genuinely tense as I gathered evidence cards to build my argument before the final courtroom showdown. The cross-examination mechanic with the witness stand adds such a clever layer of strategy. I've played three times already and the verdict has been different each session.

The "Objection, your Honor" line on the box instantly hooked me, and the rookie lawyer theme makes every round feel like a real courtroom drama. I’ve played it three times this week already and keep spotting new strategies in the mentor assignments.
