Arkham Horror RPG: Kingsport Mysteries

The way each scenario builds on the Dreamlands lore from the previous book makes for a really cohesive campaign. I especially liked how the third mystery forces you to question what’s real and what’s just a nightmare.

The three scenarios here feel genuinely connected, so my group actually got invested in Kingsport as a living town instead of just a backdrop. I especially appreciated how the Dreamlands material tied into the adventures, making that surreal angle more than a throwaway.

The adventures in this book are surprisingly versatile, letting you run them as stand-alones or weave them into a larger campaign without much fuss. I do wish there were more guidance for adapting the Dreamlands material for groups who haven't played the earlier setting book, but the storytelling qu
