Boss Monster: 10th Anniversary Edition

The card art in this edition is stunningly vibrant, and the new rulebook finally clears up the old confusion about room building. My group had three hilarious back-to-back games yesterday where everyone kept getting wrecked by the same trap rooms.

Finally got this to the table last weekend and the new boss cards add a ton of strategy without slowing down the game. The card quality feels noticeably thicker than the original release, which is great for repeated shuffling.

The 10th anniversary box art is gorgeous, and I love that it comes with the original Boss Monster plus the expansion mini-expansion packs right inside. My first game took about 45 minutes with four players, and the pixel-art dungeon tiles instantly brought back that old-school video game vibe.
