My group finally had a session where Day and Night mechanics actually shifted the strategy mid-game, which made the guardian abilities feel crucial. The habitat tiles have a satisfying weight to them, too.

I’ve already played four rounds in one sitting—the balance between Day and Night phases creates such tense, strategic decisions. The habitat cards are beautifully illustrated and really pull you into the world.

The guardian spirits concept is intriguing, but the rulebook could be clearer about how Day and Night shifts affect gameplay. Setup took us longer than expected for a medium-weight game.
