The tarot-sized cards are gorgeous and make the trick-taking feel genuinely fresh, even for someone who’s played a ton of the genre. We’ve only done Hold My Beer so far, but that three-player chaos alone was worth the price.

Finally, a game that puts a creative spin on trick-taking—the custom tarot deck is gorgeous and adds so much depth to each round. Hold My Beer with three players is hilariously cutthroat, and the artwork alone makes it worth displaying.

I was hoping for a deeper game, but the "Hold My Beer" mode feels a bit too gimmicky for 3 players only. The card art is nice, just not enough variety to keep us coming back.
