The two new characters, Ernesto de la Cruz and Prince Hans, each have a unique and cleverly designed win condition that fits their movies perfectly. My family played three rounds last night, and the game felt just as fresh and challenging as the original Villainous sets.

The rulebook is clear enough to get both new villains to the table within an hour, and playing Hans feels properly sneaky. Just wish the box had a bit more storage for the cards, since everything shifts around when it's upright. Still, a solid expansion for anyone who already owns the base game.
