龍與地下城世界

I was really impressed with how smoothly the game’s “cutting-edge rules” make combat flow—no endless page-flipping during fights. The Golden Geek award caught my eye, and after running a few sessions, I totally get the hype. My players were instantly hooked on the high-action dungeon crawling.

The Golden Geek award is what drew me in, and the rules do live up to the hype—combat flows fast without getting bogged down. The only reason it's not a perfect five is that the book could use a few more example dungeons for a GM like me who likes a little more hand-holding.

The high-action dungeon crawling is fun, but the rules felt a bit clunky during our first session. Took us a while to get the flow down, though the fantasy adventure setting kept us engaged.
