貓島對決

The two-player cat-placement puzzle is surprisingly tense—every round I'm second-guessing which rooms to fill, and the standalone design means we didn't need the original game to jump in. We've played four times this week and it still feels fresh, though the box is a bit snug for sleeved cards.

Setup takes about two minutes and we were playing right away—the cat tiles fit together so nicely that even my partner, who's not into board games, got hooked. It's got that same cozy vibe as the bigger game but way quicker, perfect for a weeknight round.

We had fun with the two-player head-to-head cat-placement mechanic, but the rulebook was a bit tricky to follow at first. Once we got the hang of it, the game moved quickly and felt balanced.
