The character creation system is surprisingly deep without being overwhelming—I built a grizzled rune-caster in under ten minutes. The Viking mythos feels authentic, and the combat rules are simple enough to keep the action flowing during our first session.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the game balances detailed lore with straightforward mechanics—the combat system flows really smoothly once you get the hang of it. The Viking-themed world feels rich and immersive without being overwhelming to learn.

The character creation rules are nicely balanced between depth and clarity, making it easy to build a Viking mythic hero without getting bogged down. I did wish the lore section went a little deeper, but the core gameplay mechanics are solid and reward smart thinking.
