We’ve played this three times already, and the whole rebuild-and-defend cycle pulls everyone into the scheming from turn one. The 2-6 player scaling is shockingly smooth, even with a full table of six. The political backstabbing kept us laughing and cursing until the very last round.

The council member roles add a fun layer of strategy to rebuilding Din'Lux, though the rulebook could be clearer for the first few turns. I've enjoyed the political maneuvering with 4 players, and the game length feels just right for an evening.

The council voting mechanic adds a nice layer of bluffing, but the rulebook could be clearer. Setup takes a bit longer than I'd like for a game of this complexity.
