Lumicora

The reef-building phase is surprisingly strategic — I love how placing tiles to expand the coral shapes can either help or block other players. My group has already played four rounds in a row, and the shifting ocean currents keep each game feeling fresh.

I was nervous the tile-matching mechanic would feel repetitive, but the way you build the reef layer by layer keeps every game fresh. My daughter and I found ourselves strategizing over the coral placement long after we’d packed it away. It’s easily become our favorite family game night choice.
