I love how the apprentice-to-master track lets you feel the pressure of earning a patron's favor. The way each instrument’s quality depends on your choices makes every game feel personal.

The thematic depth here is genuinely impressive—every card and mechanic ties back to the era’s patronage and craftsmanship in a way that feels cohesive, not forced. Setup took us about ten minutes, and the rulebook’s examples cleared up the few sticky spots quickly.

The way it drops you into the world of classical instrument-making is brilliant, and the craftsmanship theme runs through every card and decision. My group spent our whole evening debating which patron to impress, and the tension never let up. It's easily become our go-to game night pick.
