Marvel Champions LCG: Next Evolution

The shadowy plot hook actually made me play three games in a row just to see where it goes, and the build-up feels properly tense without dragging. Even the setup phase has this creeping dread that fits the theme perfectly.

The mystery-box feel of the scenario hook is what sold me, and the looming threat pacing keeps the tension high even in setup. Card quality is solid, though I wish the insert had a bit more room for sleeves.

The setup and theme are intriguing, but I wish the rulebook explained the new mechanics more clearly—we had to watch a video to get through the first game. The card quality is solid, though, and the deck-building feels fresh once you get the hang of it.
