Octopath Traveler RPG Rulebook

I was worried the 2D6 system would feel too simple, but it actually captures the video game's job-switching and Boost mechanics really well. The physical book itself has nice thick pages and the layout makes it easy to jump into a session.

The pre-order arrived earlier than expected, and flipping through the 2D6-based system immediately made me want to gather a group for a session. It’s a solid translation of the games’ vibe into tabletop form, with just enough new mechanics to keep things fresh.

The 2D6 system feels like it was made for tabletop play, and the way it brings Orsterra to life is spot on for anyone who loved the games. I was a little worried it might be a shallow cash-in, but this rulebook has real depth and the pre-order arrived right on time.
