Played my first game last night and the way you build up your civilization from a single homeworld really scratches that strategic itch. The card-based progression keeps each round feeling fresh and challenging.

The "build up a starfaring civilization" mechanic is clever and keeps things moving, though the rulebook could be a bit clearer for the first playthrough. I've already set up a few different Federation paths and each felt distinct.

The dice-rolling can feel a bit repetitive after a few games, but the way you expand your civilization from a single homeworld keeps it interesting. It's fun enough for a casual evening, though not as deep as I'd hoped.
