Pendragon RPG: Core Rulebook

Finally a game where your character's personality and choices actually influence the story mechanically. The way traits are tied to skills makes every knight feel unique, and the family history tables add so much depth.

The passion system is genius — actually feeling your character’s emotions shift through the rolls makes every session unforgettable. I’ve never had a game where my knight’s love and hatred felt so real and mechanical at the same time.

The way the Winter Phase mechanic forces you to age your knight and deal with family events really makes every campaign feel like a living legend. I’ve never had a rulebook make me actually feel the weight of passing years before.
