Pendragon RPG: Noble’s Handbook

The rules for inheriting titles and gaining prestige through deeds of arms are much more detailed than I expected, which is exactly what I wanted for my campaign. The expanded rules for tournament events and heraldry make my knight feel truly unique compared to the other players at the table.

I was pleasantly surprised by how clearly the rules differentiate between landed knights and those of lesser station. The system for tracking fief income adds a nice layer of resource management to the game.

The rules for higher-tier knights are laid out clearly, which saves a lot of guesswork during character creation. I just wish there were a few more example scenarios for non-combat courtly play. Still, it’s a solid expansion for anyone running a longer Pendragon campaign.
