I’ve played this three times in one weekend and the market trading mechanic keeps every turn tense, especially when you’re one herb short of a big potion. The knowledge tracks for different potion types add a nice layer of strategy that makes each game feel fresh.

The resource-gathering and market-trading loop is way more engaging than I expected—I kept saying "one more turn" while trying to master the different potion types. Setup was quick, and the rules were easy to teach my group even on the first play.

The forest resource-gathering loop feels genuinely tense when the market prices shift mid-turn, and the knowledge track adds a nice layer of strategy. My only gripe is that setup takes a bit longer than the box suggests, but once you're brewing it's a solid evening.
