Finally got this to the table last night, and the Pillar relic mechanics create such tense, strategic choices. The way the civil war storyline is woven into the gameplay itself kept everyone engaged for nearly two hours.

The five-pillar mechanic adds a brilliant strategic layer—I spent the first game just figuring out how the relics interact. The rulebook is clear enough that we were playing within fifteen minutes of unboxing. Definitely hitting the table again this weekend.

Setup took a bit longer than expected, but once we got the Queen's civil war scenario going, the relic-scrambling kept everyone engaged. The rulebook could be clearer on a couple of edge cases, though.
