Using the banned books theme adds so much depth to readings—it’s thought-provoking every time I pull a card. The cardstock has a satisfying, sturdy feel that shuffles well.

The cardstock feels substantial without being stiff, and the accompanying guidebook ties each classic novel to an archetype in a way that genuinely deepens readings. This deck has become my go-to for exploring personal crossroads.

The artwork is clever, and I like how each card ties to a specific classic, but the guidebook is pretty thin—I was hoping for more context on the banned books themselves. It works fine as a conversation piece, though I wouldn't call it the most intuitive deck for actual readings.
