The One Ring RPG: 核心規則標準版

I’ve been running my first game session this week, and the journey phase rules really make traveling through Middle-earth feel like a dangerous adventure rather than just a cutscene. The stress of managing hope and shadow adds a clever layer to character decisions that I haven’t seen in other RPGs.

The layout of the adventure creation chapter is brilliantly clear—I had a campaign outline ready in under an hour. The travel rules make journeying through Mirkwood feel genuinely perilous.

The rulebook’s atmosphere really captures the feel of Tolkien’s world—reading the travel rules alone makes you want to set out from Rivendell. The cover art is gorgeous and the pages have that old, weighty feel perfect for a game about legends. Already planning our first session.
