The Witcher RPG: Rule Book

The story hooks—playing as anyone in Geralt’s world during the war, not just Geralt—got me to flip through every page. I’d have liked a few more examples of combat rolls, but the lore sections alone make it worth the shelf space.

The page count alone is staggering, and the character creation tables are laid out clearly enough that my group got rolling in one night. Only wish the binding were a bit sturdier for how often I'll be flipping through it.

The rulebook's lore section is impressively deep, but the combat rules feel overly complicated for a casual session. It took us an hour just to get through character creation. Decent for hardcore fans, but not very beginner-friendly.
