Tiny Towns

The resource management is surprisingly tense for such a cute theme—I love how every building placement decision matters. My group played three rounds back-to-back last night, and it's one of the few games that works perfectly for both casual and competitive players.

The hidden-civilization theme really pulls you in, and the scarce resources force some tough choices every turn. My only gripe is that the rules took a couple of reads to click, but once we got going, it was a blast with three players.
