I love how the Trial challenges you to strategize your moves through the forest, and the Guardian role really makes each game feel like a new adventure. The rulebook is clear and easy to pick up, so we were playing within minutes. A solid hit for game night.

The game pieces for the animal characters have a nice weight to them, which makes moving around the board feel substantial. We had a tense two-hour session trying to outwit each other for the Guardian role. A great pick for a game night with friends.

The animal roleplaying hook really shines once you’re mid-game, and the race to become Guardian keeps everyone on edge. Setup took a bit longer than I’d like, but the forest theme pulls you right in. Solid pick for game night.
