魔戒之戰

Finally getting to play after years of wanting to, and the way the action dice drive the narrative tension really makes each turn feel like a chapter in the book. My first game took nearly four hours, but every minute was gripping.

The rulebook is surprisingly readable for something this dense, and the first time I won as the Free Peoples by sneaking the Ring into Mount Doom, my heart was actually pounding. It's a long game, but every decision feels like it's straight out of the books.

The setup is genuinely epic, and the game does deliver that grand strategic feel from the lore. But honestly, the rulebook is dense and we spent the first session just flipping pages instead of playing—it's a commitment, not a casual pick-up.
